OUR ANNUAL CONFERENCE: 29 APRIL-2 MAY 2024

The OFM annual conference which takes place after Easter each year at Yarnfield Park, Staffordshire, runs from Monday afternoon until Thursday lunchtime and is open to all, whether clergy, religious, or lay. We offer a reduced rate for ordinands and members of religious communities. Bursary funding is also available.

‘Follow me’: Being Transformed as Disciples of Christ

When Jesus calls us to follow him, he is inviting us into a lifelong journey of transformation and renewal. How are we living that out as disciples of Christ? On Fire Mission is inviting you to come as you are and join us at OFM onsite 2024 for a time away to recharge, to discover fresh perspectives and insights, and to become part of a Spirit-filled, creative, sacramental community; equipping Christians to become agents of renewal in their local context. We will be joined by a host of great contributors, from across the OFM network and beyond, offering great teaching, inspiring workshops, dynamic worship and much more.

Keynote Speakers:

Rachel Mann is a priest, writer, theologian, and broadcaster. She has written fourteen books, including the acclaimed ‘Fierce Imaginings’ and ‘Dazzling Darkness’, as well as a poetry collection and a novel. She regularly contributes to Thought for the Day, Pause for Thought, and a range of radio programmes. She is a member of the Church of England’s Faith and Order Commission and a Visiting Fellow at Manchester Met University.

Jonnie Parkin is an Anglican Pioneer Priest, Spiritual Director and member of Extinction Rebellion. Since ordination Jonnie has worked in parishes, academic chaplaincies, cathedral, and pioneer contexts, in one post pioneering a new monastic community with a charism around education, ecology, and emerging worship. He is currently Canon Missioner at Bristol Cathedral, where his actions inviting Extinction Rebellion and the iconic Red Rebels into the cathedral drew strong criticism from some right leaning media.

Our 2022 conference was a time of reflection, refreshment, and renewal. Some of the experience of the conference has been captured by the evocative photography of Revd Morna Simpson.
